A little footnote about happiness....

Those of you who follow me will know that I'm on a quest to instill more happiness into my life. One of my more recent blogs -  In pursuit of happiness - delves into some of the current research surrounding this delightful and fascinating subject. If you haven't already read it, I urge you to give it a few moments of your time.

Let me know what you think. Do you have any further thoughts of your own? I'd love to hear your views.

When it comes to happiness one word came up after a recent conversation and that word is... deserving. For a sense of happiness that is grounded and real we need to believe that we are are worthy of happiness. Otherwise, I can't help feeling that it is always going to remain elusive.

Emotional freedom technique (EFT) is great for dealing with the self sabotage effects of feeling unworthy, or somehow not deserving whatever it is that is being sought after. Over time, if practised regularly, I believe that in other ways Laughter Yoga can also contribute to the process of raising self esteem and increasing the amount of happiness in your life.

I am a qualified EFT practitioner. If you're struggling with happiness and you want to do something about it, contact me for a free initial consultation and let's see if, together, we can work on the things that are holding you back from having the life that you so deserve.

Also, if you live in Newcastle Upon Tyne watch out for a Laughter Club opening soon. More about that later!
